Anything Can Happen in NAWA!
The North Atlantic Wrestling Association can definately say that anything can happen on any given day! None of the NAWA champions on April 22 are still a champion just five weeks later. April 23 in Presque Isle, fans saw ABC's "Fat March"'s Sammy Makua pin Luke Robinson to become the NEW North Atlantic Television Champion. May 3 in Brewer, NAWA fans saw Mervin Greenwald lose the Twin Cities Championship to Kenneth Banks. That night also saw John "The Bomb" Bryar pin "Enforcer" Larry Huntley in an impromptu, sanctioned match to end Huntley 18 month title reign and to become the new North Atlantic Heavyweight Champion. Finally, after a very disputable North Atlantic Tag Team Championship match, the Championship Committee stripped the former champions, the New England Hate Choir, Johnny Primer and Scotty Vegas. Fans of the North Atlantic Wrestling Association need to be at any show in your area as anything can and often does happen in the NAWA.
